Program Auditions

2022-2023
Audition Information
Students with dance experience may wish to audition for the upper level dance classes or a dance team. Students do not need to prepare any material for the initial audition. They will need to fill out the below audition documents. Students should plan on learning technique combinations and short pieces of choreography. If auditioning for one of the performance teams, the students will asked to demonstrate more advanced technical elements and perform some of our sideline routines.

Students do not need to audition for Techniques 1. Auditions are only for students who have experience dancing but have not taken any dance classes at Timber Creek or for students already in the program who wish to skip levels or be on one of the teams.

Please note: An audition does not guarantee the student a spot in the level he/she is auditioning for. Students may be placed in different levels based on the audition, seniority, and space in each class. If a student auditions for the teams and does not gain a spot on either team, he/she will be advised to take one of the Techniques classes.
